A Wadi Walk Oman

An ideal choice for those wanting to experience Oman’s scenic beauty. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. Visit Quriyat Fort an exceptionally sturdy building in the city of Quriyat.

Recently restored, this 19th century fortress is a perfect example of the typical coastal defensive buildings in Oman with its high ornate walls and watchtower. The next stop is at the Bimah sinkhole, a limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom.

Photo stop at Wadi Tiwi. Proceed to the pretty Wadi Shab. For those inclined, it is possible to walk right up to the source of the Wadi through lush green plantations of lemon, banana, and dates. The fairly easy walk on a rocky path is dotted with pools and waterfalls. Enjoy a picnic lunch in these serene surroundings.

• Transfer from Muscat (One way) would take around 2.5 hrs 
• It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
• Tour is not operational during summers due to scorching heat- End April to September. 
• Not advisable for guests with walking problems, elderly clients as well as pregnant women. 
• Advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes as the surfaces may be slippery..
• Please note swimming at Wadi is at your own risk. Depending on the weather conditions, sometimes water levels and current at Wadis might not be safe to go in for a swim. When it rains water levels could be high and the currents strong. The rocks can get very slippery, we recommend clients wearing shoes with a decent grip. Please also respect local culture by wearing appropriate clothing when swimming.
